Unconsciously, we mix some foods that do not make a good couple despite being very tasty. These food combinations can delight our taste buds but are strongly discouraged since they can deteriorate your health over time. Here are some of the foods that there is absolutely no mixing!
1. PASTA AND TOMATO SAUCE
Making pasta with tomato sauce, we have all done it. However, this combination is not very healthy. This combination will make digestion more difficult and may also cause fatigue at the end of the meal.
2.CEREALS AND ORANGE JUICE
Here we have a menu that we usually take every day. Many of us have believed that this mixture is a source of energy and yet cereals combined with orange juice can cause a heavy stomach and therefore discomfort.
3.WHITE BREAD AND JAM
White bread and jam? Who has not taken it for breakfast? This classic combination actually causes a rapid glucose spike. You will gain energy for a short period but then you will be exhausted and in a bad mood.
4. PIZZA AND SODA
You will be very disappointed to learn that pizza and soda, one of our favorite combinations, unfortunately carries stomach problems. Mixing them causes bloating and a heavy belly.
5. EGGS AND BACON
Rich in protein and fat, eggs and bacon never fail at breakfast for those with a sweet tooth. It is true, it is a delicious combo but according to scientists it is not good to take them at the beginning of the day since these products have a complicated digestion.
6. BEER AND HAMBURGER
The body will first break down the alcohol as it recognizes it as a toxin. This leaves the fat on the burger floating in the bloodstream. The stored fat causes a slower digestion and that is why you will feel bloated after combining them.
7. MILK AND COCOA
Rich in oxalic acid, cocoa limits the absorption of calcium. Added to milk, the acid contained in cocoa favors the formation of oxalate crystals that are harmful to our kidneys. Therefore, this mixture is not recommended for all those who have kidney problems.
8. BEANS AND CHEESE
It is a very typical combination of Mexican cuisine: cheese, beans, hot sauce and guacamole. However, this recipe causes bloating, gas, and other digestion-related problems. It is better to eat them separately.
9. FRUIT AND YOGURT
Yogurt contains many bacteria that will act on the sugar present in fruits. This causes toxins, colds and even allergies. You can avoid this problem by using an unscented yogurt mixed with honey, cinnamon, or raisins instead of fresh fruit.
10. BREAD AND CHEESE
We have eaten them all our lives without being aware that this combo was hardly digested by our body. In effect, the bread contains carbohydrates that prevent the calcium in the cheese from being digested.
11. FRUITS IN A MEAL
Here is a dish that exudes freshness and smoothness. Some mangoes along with fish or strawberries mixed in a salad. A very colorful dish but unfortunately not healthy since the fruit is retained in the digestive system while the sugar begins to ferment.
12. WATER / JUICES DURING A MEAL
Drinking water or juice during your meal is one of the most toxic combinations. Water dilutes the acids in your stomach and prevents the breakdown of protein, carbohydrates and fats. It is recommended to drink water 10 minutes before food.
